Sigh, since rap is taken, which I would of loved to do, i'll bite the bullet and do pop since I'm sure no one wants to do it, and I since I was once a 12 year old girl more recently than most on this forum. I probably have a better handle on pop than most.

and don't expect it from me until after I have moved into my dorm room, which is the 16th. I'm pretty swamped until then.

I'll be proofreading them off a limited time scale too...

Rap is pretty repetitive in itself. :P

But seriously, rap and hip-hop span about twenty-five years and encompass some very, very different styles. Still a bit of work to do for two people.

I'm starting to doubt whether it would be possible to do a classical introductory thread. It would be condensing five hundred years of written and recorded works into a few short paragraphs, and I dunno if anyone here is that well-versed in classical music to begin with. Maybe booboo, but his allusions to it could be smoke and mirrors...

Anyone else wanna do punk with me? I don't want to do it all by myself.

Also, how do you want these laid out? Should we have a set of reccommendations/key albums for each subgenre/scene?
