People are using ways to get around these words eitherway.
And does it really matter? I mean, I am pretty sure I can hurt someone a lot more by saying goddamned than by saying ****.
It's not like it's solving anything to mask some words. The message is still the same. It all seems a bit overly moralistic to me.

Take it up with Google. The MB admins are just looking at it in a functional context... if there's a curse filter implemented, their site ranks higher in Google. I don't think our owners/admins are placing any moral significance on it at all.

Ah ok. I guess none of the ideas were do-able then, because none of them made it on the list I'm compiling... which has zero items.

Keep in mind, I'm not including anything that was already denied by the admin.

Is there a way for us to see what suggestions are do-able and completely not do-able so when we DO make suggestions?

We don't keep making the same old suggestions over and over again.

or is that for Mods Eyes Only?

Hahaha, I was afraid it had something to do with that.
Nothing to do about that then.
(google is overly moralistic though)

If you guys want, I can make another thread and include items that have been sent up the last time, which have been granted, and which have been ignored, and dictate that the thread is to be used seriously. If people promise to be actively involved in it, I think it will work. I can include all realistic suggestions in the first post "list", and/or debate anything on the fence, and go by majority opinion.

Would that be preferable?

sure, I'd like that and it would help to come up with other alternatives or other suggestions that are a bit more productive and possibly feasible.

K. I'll get it underway.

I'd like it if you could put a limit on the ratio of lounge to music posts or something so we donn't have people constantly posting in the lounge, which is a big deal atm imo.

why is that a big deal? I don't get it.

If people want to post where they feel more comfortable posting then so be it.

Agreed.

This is a music forum, but most of the time, there's not much music discussion going on. Kind of defeats the purpose tbh.
