I know what you mean. But I'm sure age doesn't matter most of the time.

The inbox space is a pretty simple thing to change. very simple actually. It's just wither they have the memory and such. Good suggestion otherwise.

What's so hard about looking at someone's profile? It's not snooping. Whatever is in there is public information and the user knows that.
If they decide not to state their age (which a lot of people don't) then it wouldn't be displayed under their avvy anyway. Ultimately it'd be up to you to ask.
I don't think the problem here is age not being displayed in every post...

There's a pretty easy way to deal with inbox space.

Delete messages.
