Any larger issues and he refers the matter to Admin.
Generally speaking we don't need an Admin CP unless it's for controlling stuff that Yac is unable to do in the limited time he's logged on.
Also, there are areas of this site he never visits because of time restrictions and for dealing with issues like the one mentioned earlier and some I won't go into here, would be better dealt with by a more regular visitor.

I approached Yac about an Admin CP for the mods and his response wasn't negative. He agreed it would be of benefit. Ultimately it's up to Admin.
My long term plan was to have an Admin CP, not for myself, but to request that an alternative account be made and accessed by 2 or 3 long term and trusted moderators.

Nice one boo boo.

Probably through google searches. Every visitor here earns money for the site.
Other than that, I'm not sure.

You can tweak what privilages each user group has. I just checked what ones you can change, and it has this:

Users and Groups
Edit, register, remove and ban members. Set up member titles and ranks. Manage User Groups and moderated registrations

Pre-Register
Find/Edit/Suspend User
Delete User(s)
Manage Validating
Member Tools

I'm unsure if this is what moderators on here already have and what not. But those 5 options would be pretty useful for say, the 2/3 longest standing mods. I dunno if an application thing can be set up, but it the validating group could help with spam and the like.

Copy Pasting

SO uh, I dont want to piss people off who probably think this is a good idea, but every time I copy paste things from this forum, usually posts I made to show freinds of mine who get together and discuss different things going on with different forums we all post at, I have to delete this stupid auto advertisement that this site has when anyone copies anything from it.

I could see why this would exist of it would actually work, but I can not imagine that any one person would not delete the "Read more here" message after copy pasting anything from the site. It is so far the only negative thing about this site that I have come across. It has brilliant posters, very interesting discussion, but it has this really useless pasting inhibitor. I have a few friends who might be picky bastards, but are pretty damn intelligent, and would never post at a site with something as petty is the copy paste ad crap. It would do nothing but make people not want to post here, while at the same time, not getting a single new person to post here. Thus, imo it is not only ineffective, it is detrimental.

If I am pit of place by bringing this up, I apologize and will not bring the subject up again. Just wanted to get my opinion of it out. Thanks for reading

So just delete it after you paste it. It just takes a second to highlight the text and press delete. Not much of a chore really, and it It does serve as a useful redirect back to the forum if anyone who's interested in what they're seeing would like to check out the forum without having to go through the hassle of Googling it. Why would anyone who owns a forum not want to work in the best interest of promoting it? This is silly.

Axiomatic Wiki 12-11-2009 12:16 AM

How is it really promoting it though? Can you imagine any people posting the entire message with each paste they make? I cant, which is the reason I think it is completely useless, and this nothing but an annoyance.

Edit- If you, and other people, think that people actually do post it, and it is a great way to advertise, I will immediately concede. I just personally can not imagine it doing any good.

Oh my gosh you gotta' move your wrist 5 centimeters and right click twice. That must make masturbating seem like climbing Mount Everest.

SATCHMO. I love you.

And for the thread, I don't see the problem you're having.
If you want to show your friends a post, why can't they have the link to the site, too?
