Musicbanter Improvement Thread

Another music website I go to posts Soundcloud and Vimeo and others and it'd be nice to do that here.
There are lots of new upcoming releases that make their way to Soundcloud (teasers), for instance,
and it'd be nice to share those here. I've tried different forms of code embedding and none seem to work,
so I have to believe it's something on the forum side of things that needs to be adjusted. It'd be nice.

I just want consistency and for it to be clear.

I know I would be banned or punished if I responded in the same way some talk to others on MB.

I think updating the rules post is a good idea.

This is just my honest opinion.

Bandcamp and Soundcloud allow for FLAC uploads, which is one type of standardized "lossless audio format". Just type that into any search engine to find out all about them.

Does anybody else get annoyed by large pictures or is it just me? 95% of my browsing is done on mobile and it is really annoying. I'd have no issue with mods editing posts and just leaving the url in the post in such cases.

Maybe we could have a 'good forum etiquette' thread. Just a thought.

i agree its nice to have pictures that fit normal while scrolling. maybe a mod can add a modification to the forums that auto fits it. its available.

I try to edit them as I find them, I do a lot of mobile browsing as well. Like OH said, spoiler tags are useful in this regard. Next time you come across one just report the post so we can be sure to fix it.
