to cut down on spam, make it so you have to add a cell phone number. could also start sending out mass texts to people who just drunkenly fell on the site. could do a monthly text that would retain members by simply just reminding them the site exists. seems like some get excited and then you never see them again.

Absolutely fucking NOT!

Just wait until a mod gets mad at you and attaches your cell phone number to some bullshit CraigsList post and you receive 1,000 messages.

The less personal info that you have to give out, the better.

Maybe creating a VOLUNTARY emergency contact database would be a better idea.
