^Pretty sure Squirtle is the starter. Blastoise is its evolved form. :p

Well yeah but you can only get Blastoise by choosing Squirtle as a starter so, you know.

Solid list but a little too heavy on the "badass" mons for me personally, I'll do a list later

I hear a lot of good things about Gourgeist but I've still yet to use it in Pokemon X, might have to try it out whenever Z ends up getting released.
