I got a question, and I didn't think it was worth creating a new thread for.

I see a lot of people with huge avatars, and yet the site prevents me from uploading anything bigger than 80 x 80 pixels. Why is that?

It's just a system limitation, but the mods are able to bypass that. And that's the purpose of this thread - if you want a big avatar, just post it in this thread and we'll sort it out for you. Max size is 300 wide by 400 high.
