I am so fed up with these idiots. I don't understand why it is even considered stealing to download music for free. I am not claiming ownership to the item if I download it. If I did then I would be one of the greatest musicians in the world.

lol someone's slow on the uptake. one of the main problems the RIAA has with people downloading is that they are taking the tracks...burning them to cds and reselling those burned cds. is that not stealing?

the music. stealing the ability to listen to it. seriously, it's pretty basic - if you download the songs from an album that is under a label that the RIAA is affiliated with (as far as I know, all the mainstream ones, and all their sub-labels), then you are taking those songs for free, instead of buying a CD to listen to. Therefore, they make no profit.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Alright pick a definition. Also how could I be stealing the music? They still have the music when I download it. I am not taking it from them. And again how am I stealing the ability to listen to it when I am not taking the ability to listen to it. The RIAA loses nothing whether I download or not.
