"We overlooked it" translates to a mod trying to be diplomatic and cover another mods ass despite knowing that the other mod was completely in the wrong and acting as a lone vigilante.

When you have cancer, you cut it out. You don't sit about using facepaints, putting funny expressions on the lump in the hope that it'll make it any more healthy and bearable. This isn't politics, and even then people win more points when they put their hands up and admit it when the **** hits the fan rather than trying to hash it over.
