Here's what would probably happen:
People would give out rep points to members they are friends with, even if in reality they didn't deserve any. Ultimately leading to a rep system that wouldn't accurately reflect reality. Unless there was another way of doing this...I'm against it. |

I think that's bull****...we all know each other pretty well and I for one am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to our members that they wont behave so childishly...
I'm on another forum that has it, and I think it's a fun addition to the site. It motivates you to post (intelligently) and gives people the opportunity to let you know they disagree with you without having to argue too much, or let you know they appreciate you...either way, if you don't take it too seriously, it can't go wrong.

i think its unnecessary, i think if people just post intelligently in general they get treated with more respect.
do we actually have to give people a reward for posting something interesting or intelligent on a music forum, i was hoping people would want to do that |
