Had enough I guess? It's just down to not really being involved with the place all that much anymore, which isn't all that fair to the rest of the guys trying to do their stuff.

I know a lot of people here are thinking it so I might as well be the one to ask:

How is it that someone that has been here for four months gets a mod position before many others that have been here much longer??

I don't mean any malice Matious cuz in all honesty I don't want it, but there are a few others that come to mind

I'm going to assume that the answer is that: There is more to being a mod than just being a long time member. I know Matious has owned a few sites before so he probably knows a thing or two about modding.

I realize that, however there are quite a few other people here who have earned their stripes so to speak

Maybe Matious had to do Ethan and Alejo a favor of sorts :).

That one kid who sounds foreign and contributes nothing at all :).

It's usually the case that a new mod is picked from the ranks of the long standing members.
In this particular case, we thought it would be a nice idea to reward a member who never spams, or gets in fights, posts sensibly and on topic...someone who has proved themselves to be a good all rounder.

matious ticked all the boxes.

We want matious to be an example to other members (particularly the younger ones) of how to conduct themselves on a music forum.

We want members to be aware that conducting themselves in this manner, doesn't go unnoticed and gets rewarded.
