What if I drew a picture of a musician?
I have a good one I did of SRV, probably 10 years ago, in conte crayon. But, it's matted and framed and hanging in my sister-in-law's living room. She said I'd have to shoot her first to get it back.

It's not like you can stop it. Whether we get our own forum or just a huge thread people will post their art.

If the people want it...let em' have it. Personally I don't care either way, but if it improves MB and proves popular...it's all good. |

Well, I think, the people here are familiar with one another, maybe even consider some other posters here friends, albeit online friends. They simply want to share their talents with people who they like, as opposed to going to another forum, where they don't know anyone, just to post their artwork.
It's a little community here, and a person looking at someone's artwork knows about the artist, and maybe the piece will convey a more feeling, or be understood a bit better, simply because the artist is a 'familiar' person. Just my opinion.
