The 'Arcade' being the case in point.

I really can't see what harm a 'Creative Forum' can cause. After all, quite a few of the members who post here may have initially been attracted by the 'Songwriting' forum, which I agree is music related, but without it would the likes of hobojesus, DRMO, crow etc choose to stay?
I'm sure a 'Creative Forum' would prove popular among those members just mentioned, amongst others.
It sounds like a good idea and at least should be given a try.

thank god a od on our side. there should be a general forum vote, somebody make a poll already.

What if I drew a picture of a musician?

I have a good one I did of SRV, probably 10 years ago, in conte crayon. But, it's matted and framed and hanging in my sister-in-law's living room. She said I'd have to shoot her first to get it back.

I'm sure you can find a creative arts forum on the net somewhere that you can join. I don't think we should sit here and add every little single forum. It would make this site more of a general forum then a music forum.

It's not like you can stop it. Whether we get our own forum or just a huge thread people will post their art.

littleknowitall 05-27-2006 03:05 PM

then if the mods cant make the effort ill get drawing, lets make a thread.

Agreed, I don't think there should be too many music unrelated forums added...unless it was a good idea...this one is.
If the people want it...let em' have it.

Personally I don't care either way, but if it improves MB and proves popular...it's all good. :)

Well, I think, the people here are familiar with one another, maybe even consider some other posters here friends, albeit online friends. They simply want to share their talents with people who they like, as opposed to going to another forum, where they don't know anyone, just to post their artwork.

It's a little community here, and a person looking at someone's artwork knows about the artist, and maybe the piece will convey a more feeling, or be understood a bit better, simply because the artist is a 'familiar' person.

Just my opinion.
