It stopped coming for awhile, so when it started again I simply switched e-mails

A bit of topic, and I might get looked down apon, but...
I can't seem to figure out how to put an avatar in, I go to CP then to edit avatar, but, from there i'm not capable of figuring it out on my own. I'm not a complete idiot, just need a little help...
