A nice chill album with typical jazz fusion prog-rock flavors. exceptional line up of musicians. everything is outstanding in this album, An audiophile type collectors album.

Love's me some 'Zumi licks.

I really need to look eastwards. "Jazz fusion prog-rock" seems to sum this up album nicely, Chef. Apart from a couple of live Herbie tours to Japan from that period which I listen to on CD, I haven't heard much. Time to delve.

(From my noob standpoint, maybe we'll get TrollHeart passionate in some classic jazz fusion, but please don't tell him yet).

Thanks for replying, I stopped doing reviews because seemed only the robots are watching. But perhaps I'll start up again, it's nice to engage with what I'm listening to at the moment with a review.

Hey Chef, I'm getting to grips with this site as well! As a newbie, I'm just trying to find my way though the genres. Please keep going with your reviews, if you have the time! :bowdown: And I'll try to chip in.

Personally I've seen/read a lot of banter so far with TH, Plankton, SGR, Batlord, music_collector, rubber_soul, Ayn, Frownland, DYCDTTS, Exo, Marie, QX.... and many others.

I was introduced to Kazumi with Kylyn, so that'll always hold a special place in my heart, but the Spice of Life is great too.
