Default David Bowie- Blackstar (2016)

Blackstar. David Bowie's last album before his death. And when listening to the album, you can hear this. Especially "Lazarus," where he sings "Look up here, I'm in heaven." The album is much darker than many of his previous albums, and Bowie gives a perfect imagery of death in his lyrics.

When the album first came out, I didn't think much of it, but I did like the title track. Then I listened to it again, and reconsidered- every song on the album was actually good! Though, unfortunately, it was a very short album of seven songs (Song Blackstar is 10 minutes though). This album is very good. The horns and the drums are so, so, so different than the way most musicians would use them, but it manages to work perfectly. I also love the dark tone of the album.

Overall, I recommend this album to EVERYONE. You don't even need to like Bowie to like this album, as it's very different from his previous work. It's an amazing album, 78/100.
