I might be a little different in saying that I actually wanted them to keep the disco influence over the whole record because I wasn't a fan of these guys through their other releases. I literally listened to all their records a week before this came out. I just hate how they only dipped their toes in the experimentation that actually sounded okay on the tracks they did it on. Listening to the record over again to see if it was a grower made me dislike it even more, and every time I listen to it I find something else I dislike about it. Not bad, but not dazzling either.
