Blak and Blu: Gary Clark Jr

I have been waiting for Gary Clark Jr's first album since I saw him in Feb this year. What an amazing live performance and set! I was so impressed by his musicianship, as well as stage presence and the crowd was into it. This album is definitely a first album, but a well concerted effort by this amazing guitarist. Blak and Blu starts off strong for the first 5 songs, but becomes choppy and less produced to my ear. I listened the whole way through, and did not enjoy the middle set. However the bonus tracks were better in my opinion then what was included earlier in the album. Overall I liked it and look very forward to his future studio albums and many live performance I hope to attend.
