Glad to hear it. And you're welcome. :)
If I can be of further assistance to you let me know.

I wasn't sure if you noticed, TH. But a lot of your images on the first few pages don't show up. Maybe it's just me.

Thanks for that Ki. It's not just you. I forgot to reupload them after the big Hack of '13! They should be showing up okay now (other than one which wasn't mine and which I'm trying to track down or get a replacement for)...

Appreciate the heads-up! :thumb:

Edit: Got one! All should be ok now.

Unfortunately a search for them on my PC came up blank, so there's nothing I can do in this instance...

Great tips. For me editing my own writing is always a challenge. Album reviews etc. are supposed to be quite short, which is tricky for me because I like to go into a fair bit of detail and talk about the artists' background/influences and so on.

Also, I am interested in World Music and writing about this genre presents its own set of difficulties. Often the sounds are unfamiliar, or only partially influenced by Western music traditions that we all recognise. So you have to be quite inventive with your comparisons sometimes and you are kind of making up the descriptive vocabulary as you go. At the same time you are aware you need to describe the music in a way that is down to earth.

Thanks for the information.

I will use the above information to create my journal and see how it works out.
