Tragic indeed. Or if not him, it's Lil Wayne or Kanye.

But it's weird how Pitchfork will laud him for having practically no personality but being a cold calculation of success, yet have turned to hating Odd Future or Childish Gambino or whoever else they done wrong like this that i can't recall right now.

Pitchfork rated "I'm Gay" (8.1) ahead of "Section.80" (8.0). I have given up on them at this point.

Pitchfork is an awful website and always has been. That being said I'm gay is more enjoyable then Section.80

I'd agree with unrelenting.

Kendrick Lamar sounds like music i've already heard before.

I thought the Gambino review was fair. They still like Odd future i thought.

I don't know, i mostly look at reviews to validate my own opinion. I was pissed at pitchfork for giving heems mixtape a bad review.

yeah, mostly when I'm looking at reviews I look at the artists and records I haven't heard of, to see if any of them compel me to go and give said record a chance

They're just really two faced to me. On Odd Future, for example, in the ASAP review they gave him props for the Houston Old Head song, for showing a mature nod to elder influence (possibly being a double meaning for music) that shies away from OF. Then, on their Best tracks of 11, on Yonkers they spent at least 5/6's of the mini review ragging on OF's immaturity, as if it were new. It's a post-'11 pattern, but i read them because i think they write well and have pretty good points sometimes. I lost faith when they dropped some ass hole's overtly nonconformist review of the Artist as a bad film in their review for some dude called O d d L o v e or somfin.

ALSO: they give Rick Ross TONS of praise consistently. and it irks me.

I'm sorry but I can't take the opinion that "Im Gay" is better than "Section.80" seriously.

Yeah. I thought pitchfork took the high road when they gave Flockavelli a positive review. They praise the lex luger sound quite a bit.

I don't get how anyone praises Rick Ross honestly, but many publications do. How he continues to promote his image after that leak of him being security guard or w/e leaked is beyond me.

He seems to just say everything 3x as far as i can tell
