My Review of the Sirens Of Titan debut album
I'm not the best at reviews. But I just enjoy spreading the word on albums I enjoy. I discovered Sirens Of Titan through a friend who recommended them to me. This is a band from Minnesota. They don't have a record label. So this is a self released album. The first thing that stood out about the band was Felicia Mitchell's Vocal style. She has great range in the vein of Chris Cornell. There's more to there music than just Heavy Metal. They embrace many styles from mid tempo to slow and melodic. This album is a diverse one at best. Sam Rhode's Guitar styling is pretty good on this release. The rhythm section of Al Vorse on Bass and Conan Malady hold down the back end very well. It's hard to find Indy bands that stand apart from there peers. But IMO Sirens Of Titan do stand apart from there peers. There playing the same style of other bands. But there music and Felicia Mitchell's terrific Vocals set them apart. I hope you give this band a listen. The stand out tracks here to me are Dancing Methuselah,Dogsbody Blues,Canvas,Hang Me Twice,Saltonat. Give This band a chance.
