Anthrax – Worship Music – 2011
Anthrax – Worship Music – 2011
Anthrax – Worship Music – 2011 Genre Thrash Metal Record Labels Megaforce (US) Nuclear Blast (Europe) Rating 8 Out Of 10 Track Listing 1 ''Worship (Intro)'' 1:10 2 ''Earth On Hell'' 3:10 3 ''The Devil You Know'' 4:46 4 "Fight 'Em 'Til You Can't" 5:48 5 ''I'm Alive'' 5:37 6 ''Hymm 1'' 0:38 7 ''In The End'' 6:46 8 ''The Giant'' 3:47 9 ''Hymm 2'' 0:47 10 ''Judas Priest'' 6:24 11 ''Crawl'' 5:29 12 ''The Constant'' 5:01 13 ''Revolution Screams'' 6:10 14 ''New Noise (Hidden Track) 4:45 Well here's my review of the new Anthrax album Worship Music. This album has been in the works since 2009. Original recordings where done with Dan Nelson on vocals. Dan left the band. Anthrax reunited with John Bush. It was believed he would redo the Vocals. But John left and in comes Joey Belladonna who is the Vocalist on this release. Now I got a copy of this album in October. At first listen I couldn't get into it. But on the second listen it grew on me. The only reason I gave it 8 out of 10. Is I didn't like the production. Joey's Vocals on this album are strong. That was my only concern about the album. The band is pretty tight on most songs. Would have loved to hear John Bush on this. Sorry Joey I like John better. Now this album does kinda remind me of Sound Of White Noise musically. To me the standout tracks here are The Devil You Know,The Giant,Judas Priest this is my favorite track,Revolution Screams. If your a long time Anthrax fan. I think you won't be disappointed with this release. If you've never heard Anthrax you may enjoy this. It's nice to see they got something left in the creative tank. I would recommend to long time fans to give this a chance. It's definitely better than Metallica's output recently. Last edited by metalheadmike; 12-26-2011 at 11:28 PM. |

I think this is the best album of the Big Four this year. Anthrax beats Megadeth by a few hairs and Metallica and Rob Halford by a long shot. Judas Priest record supposed to be popping up sooner or later but probably won't make the 2011 cut.
I think it's a solid release and it's nice to hear Belladonna back in action... |
