Countdown To Ecstasy's one of a number of Steely Dan album's I don't yet have. I've had it recommended to me a few times before though, so I think this has just pushed it up a place or two on my priorities list. Very good review again sir As it happens I've heard of a few of these songs before (Bodhisattva, Your Gold Teeth and King Of the World), and I do remember them being pretty awesome.
Can't wait for your thoughts on the Dan's 21st century albums as well. Both are albums I've heard very good things about and haev as such been meaning to get hold of for years, but simply can't find anywhere. |

But it really is a damn shame I lost ~1000 words on the first half of Pretzel Logic when my computer died, especially since brain has been bugging me to finish this thread for about a month. Maybe soon.

Pretzel Logic-Monkey In Your Soul
I like everything on the album Pretzel Logic, but there are three singles I like more so than the others. Any Major Dude Will Tell You, Pretzel Logic, and the one song that stands out more than all the others, Monkey In Your Soul. I like the distortion/fuzz effects on the bass guitar, it gives the song a 60s rock vibe to it. Looking forward to your review.
