White Rabbits-It's Frightening
You've probably never heard of this Indie, Rock band that sounds like The Fray. Here's a track-by-track review:
1. Percussion Gun- The best song on the album, that features an amazing drum beat, and a catchy chorus and awesome guitars. 9/10 2. Rudie Fails- A slower song that almost feels like The Beatles. Almost. It also has a nice laid-back guitar and drum beat. 7/10 3. They Done Wrong We Done Wrong- Another slow song, in the style of Muse with less techno. It features a strange piano part that I thought could be left out in favor of a guitar or other instrument. Overall, a nice song. 8/10 4.Lionesse-Feels like a filler song in a way. I'm just not impressed by this song... 6/10 5. Company I keep- Though it is a nice song, at this point, the album is starting to sound like more of the same. It's yet another slow song that doesn't quite capture my attention as much as Percussion Gun or They Done Wrong did. 6. The Salesman- I really like how other band members are singing in this song. Excellent. 8/10 7. Midnight and I- Cool song, that features a good guitar and drummer in the background. I actually like the use of piano in this song. Very dramatic! 8.5/10 8. Right where the left- This song is a bit faster than most on the album, but, it lacks the power Percussion Gun had. 7/10 9. The Lady Vanishes- Really enjoy the piano/keyboard in this song. All the instrument sound awesome in this song! Sounds really cool. 7.5/10 10. Leave it at the Door-I actually enjoyed this song. Didn't expect to like it due to the fact that I hated it when I heard it live before I bought the album. A good song, but not a good ending... 7/10 |
