Breaking Benjamin - Dear Agony
I felt the power, yet subtle hints of vulnerability made Dear Agony Breaking Benjamin's best.
Phobia was potentially one of my favorite albums of all time the first time I heard it, and still is; however Dear Agony quickly surpassed the predecessor. With the edge it held in songs like Crawl, I Will Not Bow, and Fade Away the album opened with a bang. It quickly caught my ear and held me on throughout the rest of the album. Then the pure strength that Anthem of the Angels and Dear Agony possessed almost gave me chills. I believe that Breaking Benjamin fans will like this album for the simple fact that the band played it smart and stuck to their roots, however gained a new edge that will draw in a whole new group of followers. 9 out of 10 |

Completely agree 100 %. I find that for me the music is best listened to in the loudest form you have available. Grab a broom stick and start to jam.

Um, I sternly disagree. While 'I Will Not Bow', 'Crawl', 'Hopeless'...are the only songs that could have made it onto Phobia. While I do like Dear Agony I dont think it can compare to Phobia as a whole work.

Love this album, listened to it about 3 times yesterday. Four and half stars.

This is one of the most consistent teams I've heard of ever before. If you have a CD-ROM drive past then you'll like this one. Something new and not missing from my point of view. Just pure catchy poppy tunes rock solid. It depends only on the album that you want the best. It seems that this band never to give up a fan base and keep the tunes pumping simplistic rock solid. What do you want? Not even close to one of my favorite bands, but I give it five stars for consistency. If you like this band a lot do not hesitate to add this album.

My favorite band Breaking Benjamin to call it will not be unreasonable. Dear Agony I definitely was looking forward to for a while now. "I do not bend" is definitely a great track. As other users said, it's a different album, fear or moisten with a little more serious. I'm not frustrated at all, but I was blown away :-)
