I always loved this album and think it's fair and away the bands best effort.

I'd give it a 9.5 personally, simply because it doesn't have as much replay value as I'd like. Good review!

i have and do enjoy this album, but i wouldn't call it "the best pop album in the last 25 years". it's more pop rock than straight pop. and as for the last 25 years, maybe top 15-20, but nowhere near the best.

anyways, good review, keep up the good work

Also, i'd say this is pop. Certainly has rock elements, but pop overall.
hmmm......well actually seeing a post from you saying you see pop music more like what the Beatles have done, idk a pop album i could recommed that'd you'd like. and by that i mean something by Michael Jackson, for instance. anyway's i'm not that well versed on the genre of pop music, someone care to take this?

even so, i'd still consider Weezer a pop rock band. while i do agree that they definately have pop elements, labeling them just as that would be selling them short musically. some of their songs, like "Hashpipe", aren't exactly pop songs, you know?

Just listened to this album for the first time in a while last night. It's good, not amazing (like every "respectable" album Weezer did basically) and I would give it an 8/10.
