17. The Modern Lovers
An absolute classic, this one. A near-perfect embodiment of what it feels like to be young and in love with rock and roll, The Modern Lovers is one of those rare records that seems to get better with age. It's as much about the music as it is about the attitude, and that's not something that dies. Oh, and the music is perfect.
