He has one of my favourite voices in music. He often gets overlooked by Marvin *** and Al Green, but I think vocally he is about on par with them.

It's such a shame he died when he did, before he could have a larger catalogue under his arm.

OK I am listening to the album now. It's brilliant. Simple as that. Of course there is quite a few tracks I know but it is so deliciously upbeat and well produced for the time. Very good feel good album that has brightened up my fairly crap weekend. I'm buying this at the weekend.
