well, due to your heated debate i will also be downloading the entire XO album as well as FABOTH and FIGURE 8. I will listen to them all as soon as possible so i can relay my feedback!
EDIT: LOL, i couldnt find the album entitled "FABOTH". it took me a while to realize that it was an acronym

But Figure 8 is much more of a upbeat pop album with songs like L.A. & Son of Sam.

I still can't get over the feeling that Figure 8 is totally impersonal, and has nowhere near the amout of genius that Elliott has exhibited in prevous albums. For me its.. well i have officially listened to his self titled album and its pretty good. its very mellow for the most part. if pot wasnt illegal i would definitely toke up while listening to it.
