Kurt Cobain was a genius, but his singing can be painful at times.

I used to love Nirvana. Now I'm kinda sick of them. I still like Nevermind and In Utero. I'm sure I'm going to get some disagreement about this: They certainly weren't the most musically talented band in the world, but THEY SAVED MUSIC!!! No more hair bands and other crappy 80's "music". I mean the 80's were dreadful and if Nirvana didn't come along who knows what the hell we would be listening to. Maybe some other grunge/punk band would have broken through, but who knows.

What the **** are you talking about? "Hair bands" are million times better than grunge and the ****ty mainstreamified Nirvana semi-worship Staind **** that followed. If anything Nirvana single handedly ruined music.

1990 - Motley Crue , Poison ,New Kids On The Block , Vanilla Ice , Tiffany
2007 - My Chemical Romance , Fall Out Boy , Black Eyed Peas , Justin Timberlake , Avril Lavigne.

Yeah big f*cking difference
Hurray for Nirvana changing music

See? I don't mind Motley Crue or Poison. However everything from the 07 list is ear blistering.

Well I secretly didn't mind them either at the time.

Much in the same way the emo kids here secretly like MCR & Fall Out Boy , So I think it's a fair comparison
