Love this album and good review! This and No World for Tommorow ( which I thought was an incredibly boring, pretensiois piece of crap ) are the only 2 records of them I have, but I absolutley LOVE FFTTEOM. Taylor Hawkins was a bad addition to the band, will be much more interseting with DEP's Chris Penne behind the skins.

I'm a huge fan of Coheed and Cambria and I feel that this is one of their top best albums to date. Since their earlier works I wasn't a fan of but this is the album that reeled me in to how amazing they truly were. I rate this and In Keeping Secrets... as a tie for the best Coheed and Cambria albums.
I would have to say the only disappointing album by them so far has been Year of the Black Rainbow. I have truly enjoyed the new Afterman and I'm curious to see how the second part plays out. |

This is the CD that did it for me with Coheed. I had purchased SSTB on the recommendation of a friend, but didn't get the hype. I know a lot of fans who were disappointed that they deviated from their older style, but I think it was all positive growth. I now have all of their stuff, and this one was number 1 for a long time (Dethroned by Afterman!)
