ATTN: Read before posting
So, seeing as alot of the threads seem to be...really badly written reviews a few help suggestions (mainly tooken from bungalows post)
1. HTML is your friend, bolds, italics, colors, etc.. make your review look neat and pretty. 2. Post an Image/tracklist to the album, the year it was released, the label etc.. 3. Write an actual review and not just a short paragraph saying it was good talk about a few of the tracks, and the vocals and instrumental ability. Describe how it made you feel and what you thought of the album, not what everyone wants to hear. 4. Rate the album at the end, (4/5, 9/10, etc..). I think thats about it, unless anyone else has a few more things to add. EDIT: sticky? |
This should be stickied.
If people want this forum to be taken as a serious review forum there should be a grammar mandate too. |
I don't see the point, as long as its coherent its fine. Quit being so anal about it.
|
Yeah I agree. As long as the review is coherent, and showss at least an adequate knowledge of grammar skills, there really isn't a need to get anal about word spellings or grammar.

I noticed some post links for downloads and some don't, I'm guessing the download link isn't mandatory? Semi-interesed in doing a few, myself.. |
It isn't.

I thoroughly enjoy this Albums Review forum and can say nothing but congrats for allowing frustrated music writers such as sad old me get stuck into it. I have only read the first page so far so there is a lot to catch up on.
