For some reason, it seems most people never read this thread. You might've seen me bugging people in the forum for not including release year in their reviews which is unfortunately the standard. It's a pain in the ass when you're collecting links for album reviews and want to include release years ..
Maybe it's possible to brush up this thread a bit, change the title so more people notice, perhaps alter the content a bit .. just so that it's not so unnoticed?

How about making the OP say something like this :
(This is basically a quotation of sleepy jack's post only modified somewhat and with some bits added in the end) 1. Use the BBCodes, format your text A review is better if it's easy to navigate around in. Use the BBCodes to format your text and make your review neat, pretty and well organized. 2. Post album information Post album cover if you can and a track list for the album. Also, don't forget to include release year! Label might also be interesting. 3. Write a review Write an actual review and not just a short paragraph saying it was good talk about a few of the tracks, and the vocals and instrumental ability. Describe how it made you feel and what you thought of the album, not what everyone wants to hear. 4. Rate the album Rate the album at the end (4/5, 9/10, etc..). 5. Name your thread Please be descriptive when you name your thread. If your thread is a review of the Yes album "Close to the Edge", call it something like "Yes - Close to the Edge (1972)" and not "my first review". 6. Add your link to the index If you want people to find your review in the future, you should add it to the sticky thread "Album Reviews Index". Just copy the address to your review post and leave it in a post in the index thread. Also, maybe it's possible to add a sample review to that post as an example of how it should be done.
