Under the overpass
In the parking lot we're still waiting
It's already passed
So move your feet from hot pavement and into the grass
Cause it's already passed
It's already, already passed!

The chorus as well. That definitely brings me a sense of nostalgia. Not in a metaphorical sense or anything, but more of a literal sense. Just reminds me of my childhood growing up in the suburbs. How the song swings makes me identify with it as well, in a way I can't really explain.

As for boredom, that's just a derivation of the nostalgic feeling I get. When I think back at my childhood growing up in the suburbs there are alot of memories of just lazing about with my old friends on hot summer days, just looking for something to do.
