Sometimes, I've felt like there is something there that makes me have to swallow a bit hard which makes it kinda hard to talk and stuff and I assume that if that feeling was more intense, tears would come
They haven't yet, though.
I think guys from my generation and earlier were taught that guys are not supposed to have extreme emotions and they certainly don't cry. At least, I felt that was something I learned growing up in the 80s and 90s in Norway. I think from learning that, I eventually also became that. Sometimes I think it makes me a little dispassionate compared to others. Could I ever express strong emotion through some work of art? I'm not sure I could do that, though I could probably pretend like it. On the plus side, at least I'm not an emotional wreck.
