I'm so glad that there are MB-ers who are WoW-knowledgeable, I'm too scared to even hop on the Blizzard forums whenever I have a question or anything! Especially being a girl in the game, guys (who seem to make up more of the WoW population) can be complete asses; I wish I had've made a male character ha!
djchameleon, I agree completely, which is why I want to do an instance properly, rather than have my housemate run me through them. He was really excited when I started playing and he's like "I'll run you through some instances and get you some good stuff" so I just went with it, but like you said I really want to actually play the game myself!
Maybe I'll just take the plunge and find a random group, just say at the beginning, 'look guys, just letting you know I'm a bit of a noob to WoW and to instances, feel free to give me direction or constructive criticism if need be....' Thanks for all the info, tore! You rock
