Bongzilla is straight forward sludge...much like eyehategod but rather than being addicted to heroin they just smoke a sh it load of weed....and i mean a sh it load....i had the pleasure of hanging out with these guys before a show in Baltimore sometime in 2002 and they (at that time a trio) smoked more weed than i've ever seen three people smoke at one sitting!.....their songs are usually a bit longer and follow the slow building, heavy as all hell you would expect from any self respective "southern lord" type of band
