I was living and working in the US up until 2009 and used to go to a lot more concerts than I do now. There were way more bands touring! Here in South Africa, international bands do tour but not nearly as much. Saw Crowded House recently. They were great!

In the next few months...

U2 360 (Finallyyy my favourite band comes to South Africa! You'd think after Bono's preaching about Africa over the years they'd have come here sooner!

Roxette... ok don't laugh! :p It's kinda like a treat to my wife. She loves them. And I don't mind listening to some old pop tunes for nostalgia sake.
