Bump...
I have a bit of a problem. I recently restored my computer to factory settings, all my **** was erased. I got it all back after a week or two of work, oh and by the way, this is was due to a Trojan virus.
So now, happy again, a fresh laptop with all my files. My norton antivirus expired, and since I'm a cheap ass too pay $70 again, I got no protection.
After surfing the web, I got a new virus within a week.
****!
It is something like ThinkPoint, or at least it was an icon that displayed.
So my question is, anyone know how to get rid of it? I downloaded Malwarebytes and ran three scans, deleted the infected files, but still, it remains active.
And what free Antivirus software do you guys know of or use?
