Over the past few months I have been tracing her recent output and found snippets of collaborations with Jungle artists and only last year, work with Lee 'Scratch' Perry that showed an artist that stayed true to her roots and was willing to make music that didn't trade on former glories.

It's no exaggeration that The Slits debut is a mini classic and she was only 48? R.I.P
