I was reading an article online a few weeks ago saying vinyl was becoming popular again, but I doubt it'll ever be mainstream popular to be honest.
You can get quite a fair bit of vinyl still. I recently bought a turntable that I can plug into my hard drive and transfer to mp3 for about £35. I have quite a bit of rare stuff that I have seen sell on e-bay for quite a pretty penny. I am always tempted to sell it when I see some of the prices, but then I always change my mind, even though I hardly ever play it.
