As for United's debt, this year was a record profit making year.
The debts were record breaking too, but the difference being is that the debt is being serviced.
If things go badly wrong there are still people queuing up to buy United.

My understanding: the only reason people (potential buyers) aren't forcing the issue at the moment is because the price is too high. If things went tits up, the price would also go tits up.

Buying players like Ole and Cantona and the best criticism some people can come up with is ****ney reds

People also don't understand with success, it brings a global fanbase.
