Veruca Salt were not labeled indie then but the sound of this album fits right in with what indie is today. Because, you know, indie is today what alternative rock was in the 90s. So you might as well check out PJ Harvey too. Plus since you like Metric you should appreciate these (at least as a fan of Metric's older stuff).
