The meeting with The Police was a lucky bonus as my pal & me were there at the TV studios for someone else. Can't remember who. It was no one nearly as big as The Police at the time. I think it was 81/82 time. We'd managed to pick up on some classified gossip from inside The BBC that someone big was coming soon. We didn't know who until this limo pulled up and out got Sting, Andy, And Stewart. We were thrilled. I remember Sting wearing this real long leather coat that seemed to bury him.
