The reason for nominating these two bands is mainly because of Paul Rodgers, there just isnt very much discussion anymore concerning Free or Bad Company, back in the 70s Bad Company was one of the more popular bands, atleast they were here in the Northeastern, US.
Paul Rodgers is so different in vocal style than Freddie Mercury ever was, but I like him as the frontman for Queen, turned out as a nice homage to Mercury's career.
The categories were just my idea and so don`t exist But certainly agree about Paul Rodgers, and as far as I`m concerned should be mentioned in the same breath as Robert Plant and Ian Gillan from that era. For the record I think Free are superior to Bad Company.
