), last Friday the
2010 World Basketball Championship began.
As far as I know, a priori the main favorites to win the trophy are USA, Serbia, Spain (current European and World champion), Russia, Argentina and Greece. The first round (four groups) ended yesterday:

As it happened at the football (soccer) World Cup, Spain started the tournament with a slip (or, in this case, two slips). But in group D there was a "Kiwi miracle": New Zealand won France in the last match. So we finally qualified in second place of the group. Thank you,
