I would also throw in Willie Nelson, Whiskey River & On The Road Again are great songs! I need to get some albums myself so I can't help you there, but personally I am not a big fan of country either but I am diggin' myself some Willie Nelson.
Edit: before I go, I think this might be a good place to ask about James Taylor & Jackson Browne? Anyone got some good songs/albums or info on them? Of the two artists the only song I have heard is Browne's "Runnin' On Empty" which is good, but I have a feeling doesn't even begin to tell how good he really is. Thanks!
