I had never heard of CatPeople before you mentioned them. I especially liked the first song, "In Silence"...although not so much for the song but for the cool video, which was fascinating in a gruesome way, just like real boxing. Have you seen the movie "Million Dollar Baby?" The video reminded me of it.

I also liked the "Radio" song about what bands will do and how they need to be perceived to be commercial successes. I liked the part where the drummer is shown by day to be some lowly document stamper, and one of the judges deems the band to be "wild" after she has fantasies about a player. The song is intentionally ironic, since the band appears to be trying to make a commercial hit by condemning the whole superficial process by which songs and groups become popular.

I agree CatPeople's music doesn't seem very original, especially since after listening to the three songs and waiting 10 minutes the only musical part I can remember is the last song in which they sing about "radio" and "sell my life." But I liked all their videos paired with the songs.

And yes, that sister is pretty awesome, I admit. GAA! I'm not immune to the cheap use of sexuality in videos!
