i'm POSITIVE Boards of Canada have always incorporated 'real' instruments on their past albums at various times. especially if you ever managed to download a live set. Aquarius is just a little
too funky to be a synth. just that when they got to the most recent disc they didn't bother hiding it as much.
You Could Feel the Sky is the track that does it for me every time.
